Helping in Haiti

Michael Harris is collecting hygiene items to send to Haiti with a family friend who is going there on a service trip. They are especially interested in taking things that are in demand and easy to transport: toothbrushes, soap, combs, hand towels. The group will be working on a school and community center for people who have been living in a “temporary” tent city for the past 2 years.

You can drop things by the Harris home (164 E. 550 N.) or call/text Lynnette and they will be happy to come pick up donations (764-6936). They need them this week as their friend is leaving early next week for Haiti.
