help wanted

For the Stake Pioneer Celebration, they are in need of some salads and service. 

If you could supply a salad (Terri Walden has five aluminum rectangle pans that she can drop off to whomever would help her with the salads) and/or are willing to volunteer their husbands or sons to help with clean up (they are needing five from our ward), please contatct Terri Walden at waldengang@somcast.net or 435-213-3556

Salads can be:  egg, pasta, jello, or fruit (no green).

want to host a youth from Japan?

A friend of Lynette Harris is sending a forward requesting help in finding homes for a group of youth coming to Utah later this month (July 24-Aug. 18).   In a nutshell, host families must have a child of the same gender within 2 years age range of the Japanese guest. You need not make any special plans for trips or anything like that, but are welcome to have the children accompany you if your family has a trip planned. Saving Your Marriage

Stake Conference is this weekend.
Today (Saturday) at 4:00 is a priesthood leadership meeting at the Stake Center.
Tonight (Saturday) at 7:00 at the Stake Center is the adult session, which I just have to say is a neat meeting. (and it's quiet!)  Sunday at 8:00 at the Stake Center is a special Youth Meeting, which, again, will be a neat meeting.  I hope all the youth make it to that one (I remember a youth one when I was a youth with Elder Scott.  I still remember the spirit at that meeting, and am grateful for it!)
Sunday morning at 10:00 AT THE TABERNACLE is the general session.  I'm looking forward to that meeting as well. Hope you and your families can make it!
